Safe 2 Soar Initiative Inc. empowers teen girls to rise above adversity—including homelessness, trauma, and other life challenges—through mentorship, education and college readiness, health and wellness, and personal development.

Our Mission

Our Founder
Brittany, a registered nurse, nurse practitioner student, and proud HBCU graduate, is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. Her journey was shaped by perseverance, faith, and the reality of navigating challenges while working to create a better future for herself. She understands what its like to face barriers. After experiencing homelessness as a teen and facing the challenges of paying for college, Morgan continued to push forward while still holding onto the vision of becoming more.
Despite those challenges, Morgan completed her education at an HBCU and built a career rooted in care, service, and community. Safe 2 Soar was created from that same spirit to support teen girls who have experienced homelessness, trauma, instability, poverty, or other life challenges, and to remind them that where they start does not determine where they can go.
Through mentorship, education and college readiness, health and wellness, and personal development, Safe 2 Soar meets girls where they are and helps equip them for where they are going.
This work is personal. It is purposeful. And it is built on the belief that every girl deserves the support, resources, and encouragement to become who she was always meant to be.
We walk alongside every girl through mentorship, academic readiness, wellness, and personal growth—creating pathways to higher education and lifelong success.
Building meaningful relationships that inspire confidence, resilience, and leadership. Safe 2 Soar connects teen girls with positive mentors who provide encouragement, accountability, and guidance as they pursue their goals.
Equipping young women with the tools to achieve academic success and prepare for life beyond high school—college, vocational training, or meaningful careers.
Supporting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of every participant through trauma-informed programming and whole-person wellness education.
Preparing young women with the life skills needed to thrive independently and confidently—fostering responsible decision-making and long-term success.
Our Impact
Every season, Safe 2 Soar turns community partnership into real resources for the young women we serve. Here is the work in motion.
Together with Covenant House Georgia, we distributed 50 fully stocked backpacks to youth ages 16–24 transitioning out of homelessness and housing instability, so they could start the school year with the essentials and the confidence to match.

Support the Work
Every contribution to Safe 2 Soar directly supports the four pillars of our work: mentorship that places a trusted adult in a girl's corner, education and college readiness that helps change her trajectory before senior year, nurse-led health and wellness education that equips her with knowledge she may not receive elsewhere, and personal development that builds the confidence to use it all.
Donations help fund workshop materials, school-site programming, mentor training, essential supplies, and the resources that remove barriers between a girl and her next step. Every gift helps create safe spaces, meaningful opportunities, and pathways for teen girls to rise above adversity and move toward lifelong success.
Join our monthly journal. We share stories of growth, updates from our spaces, and practical ways to support the young women in your community.
